MISSION
At the Elijah Zachariah Kids Company (Aka EZKids), our mission is to find creative ways to educate and inspire earths most precious resources…our kids!

OUR STORY
EZKids was founded in 2014 when a 5 year old boy named Elijah was asked to tell his entire school what made him happy. His response would forever change his mother, Shelancia Daniel’’s life.

“I am Elijah and I like to chase crabs!” (Video)

What Elijah did not realize at the time was that chasing crabs was a game his mother played with him to teach him how to add and subtract. For Elijah to realize at such a young age (he was 5) that creative learning made him happy, Shelancia knew she had to continue to find other creative ways to educate and inspire not only him, but other kids as well.

With a background in design, textile arts, event planning, and non-profit fundraising, Shelancia began combining her skills to transform EZKids into a company that would plan educational creativity events and classes for kids in the United States, Africa and other countries as the company continues to grow.

Elijah Zachariah Kids is committed to educational creativity for kids and 10% of all company profits are donated to kids in our community to give them access to the creative learning tools they need to succeed.

Core Values
These values guide how our organization and our partners develop and plan strategies that will benefit earth’s most precious resources…our kids!

Sense of Possibility
Children are the leaders of the next generation which makes them earth’s most precious resources.

Mutual Responsibility
As adults, we can positively engage our children by understanding there is no “One size fit’s all” method to education.

Creative Learning
Children should have exposure to different learning methods. As they grow, they will naturally gravitate into the methods which best fits their learning style. We believe that creativity should not be used as a last resort to educating a child.

Positive Interactions
When we work together with other childcare organizations, we can all get to know and understand the different children that cross our paths, and help embrace or direct them to other paths along their journey into adulthood.
